Bollywood Diaries: Glam Dolls By Karan Johar.!

Hey Guys.!!

We are back again with another post.! *drumrolls* 😉

Recently we saw Karan Johar making headlines because of his statements on Udta Punjab, and we totally stand by him.! *We love KJo* ❤

So we were having a random chat on him, when we decided.. Hey Why not write about How Karan’s heroines gave all of us fashion goals.!! Ohh yes.! we love bollywood.. we know it is sometimes illogical but we love DRAMA.! #GuiltyasCharged
Karan Johar is an ace filmmaker,a talented director,a witty host, now an actor and even a costume designer. His sense of humour and witty one liners leave the audiences in splits. The posh locations, lavish mansions, love triangle, super-elite schools and colleges(which
actually doesn’t exist)where you show off your wardrobe collection rather than studying, big fat Indian wedding, heroines running in a single colored sari in a romantic number and lots of filmy drama are KJo’s(not anymore a secret!!!)formula of a hit bollywood movie.

However, a KJo movie is also incomplete without the high octane glam girls showcasing their designer stuff. Lets have a look at KJo’s glam dolls who gave us serious fashion goals:

  1. Terrific Tina (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai):
Rani Mukherjee’s portrayal of Tina, the college bomb was all one could talk about when Kuch Kuch Hota Hai hit the theaters.

    4
She looked hot, smart and at the same time really cute with the orange sleeveless crop top and skirt she wears to college on the first day of college.1The silver sleeveless body-con short dress donned by her in the song “Koi Mil Gaya” was sensual and was quite a rage in the party season among the teen girls.

The Pastel colored suits worn by her was also a refreshing change and made her look really beautiful. The matching colorful plastic necklace and earrings were also a hit among the teenagers.

  2. Peppy Poo (Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham)
    ‘It’s Raining Men, Hallelujah!!

    3k
Who can forget the introduction scene of Pooja, oops Poo in K3G. She was not bossy, she was the BOSS,u know!! Whatever!!
She had the perfect response to fat shaming: FYI its PHAT Pretty Hot And Tempting…gotcha!!!
    2k
She was a style diva and none other than Bebo could have played the character so well. She wore sexy minis, sequined bustiers accesorised with scarfs and mufflers which was an inspiration for the self-designated hotties.
    1k
She set temperature soaring in the number you are my sonia with her uber trendy red separates. Her perfect curves accentuated her sensuality and made her look sexy as hell and is quite in vogue even today.
    4k
Even her traditional avatar in the song Bole Chudiyan bole kangna was quite a sensation. The nude colored parallel salwar and kameez tops was a trendsetter and Kareena carried off the outfit with elegance. Its quite similar to the palazzo and indo westen outfit we wear today.
  3. Nonchalantly Sexy Neha (Dostana):
Neha is a modern, cool, independent woman settled in Miami and Priyanka was awesome in that character.

Her straight layered hair, smokey eyes and the orange Yyigal dress in the introduction scene was to die for.
She was seen sporting shorts, tank tops, bikini, tees which had a beach vibe and the golden colored swimsuit donned by her made every actress go green with envy.
Who is the hottest girl in the world?! Oh Desi girl Oh desi girl!!
She looked ultra hot in this number with the sizzling golden sari and the bikini blouse added to her oomph level .
  4. Sassy Shanaya (SOTY):

Shanaya did make guys fall head over heels in love with her. She was sexy yet cute, sensible yet drama queen, classy yet a little quirky and Alia, though it was her
debut movie she carried off the chic look with oodles of confidence.
    maxresdefault
The girl got it all u know and dt too in 1 song : Jimmy Choo & Manolo, Prada, Galliano, Louis Vuitton & the Stella Mccartney, Donatella Versace and the bag from GUCCI. Pretty and glamorous at the same tym.
    alia
She sported cute short flare dresses accessorized with satin bow headbands. My God!!She looked red hot in the prom number Disco Deewane with her elegant red dress and silver heels with diamond headband. Well I cant help but notice a
striking resemblance between her and Gossip girl’s Blair waldorf.

She also brought bright colored lehengas in fashion in the song “radha” where she wore bright pink and neon lehenga.

Shikshya: So who is your favourite?

Shahnaz: My favourite is Neha. She was sexy, ambitious, fun to be around and quite broad-minded, u know…she lived with 2 guys whom she thought were gay.. I lovedd her wat about you?

Shikshya : Even I did…I so wanted to be like her..the way she talks and carried off all outfits, she worked in Verve magazine *our dream job*.

Shahnaz: But u turned out to be like Poo..*lol*. I wonder how she is not your favourite!!!

Shikshya: Oh come on..I am not like her…am I? Maybe, I am… 😛  Yes,I did like her, even Shanaya and Tina…I like all four. Ting!!!

I think Shanaya was rather Bland. Poo and Neha on the other hand were awesome.
Do a bit about Anjali’s transformation from tomboy to pretty girl too 😀
